DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL (N/A)

Upon arriving in Hanoi, our tour expert will meet you at the airport and transfer to Hanoi’s downtown for check in hotel.

DAY 2: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B/L/D)

07.30 – 08.30: Our tour guide and bus pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.

08.30: Departure to Halong Bay for 3.5 hours.

10.00: Arrive in Hai Duong province, and have 20 minute short break.

12.00: Arrive to Tuan Chau harbor, Welcome to Cruise and enjoy welcome drink. Get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Check-in your cabin.

12.30: Enjoy Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian lunch, while cruising in the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.

14.30: Take rowing boat through the village or kayaking to visiting around the floating fishing village.

16.00: Visiting Halong Pearl Farm Village and Swimming in the bay.

17.30: Come back to Cruise and relax.

18.00: Join cooking class guided directly by Chef of Cruise. You have chance to practice Vietnamese traditional dishes such as spring roll or famous cuisine of Vietnam.

19.30: Time for dinner enjoying special food on the cruise.

21.00: Evening entertainments: play game on the cruise: cards game, chess, karaoke, squid fishing, and overnight in Halong Bay.

DAY 3: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/L)

06.30: Early morning sun risers can enjoy Tai Chi lesson on sundeck.

07.00: Morning view of bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast.

08.00: Arrive Sung Sot Cave (Amazing Cave) and joining with guide to visiting and explore the cave.

10.00: Check-out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay.

11.00: Enjoy the lunch on cruise.

12.00: Cruise are landing Halong Bay harbor, tourist say goodbye to sailors and finish the cruise.

12.30: Return to Hanoi by shuttle bus.

14.30: Stop over in Hai Duong province to visit a ceramics workshop.

16.00 – 16.30: Arrive in Hanoi.

DAY 4: HANOI – HOA LU – TAM COC (B/L)

Breakfast is served at the hotel.
08.00 AM, Our bus and guide will pick you up at your hotel, travel to Hoa Lu. Along the way, we may take some stop-over for photo and refreshment while enjoying rural stunning scenery on the way. Arrive in Hoa Lu which is the former capital of Vietnam (968 – 1009) under Dinh and Le dynasties. Visit Dinh temple, Le temples and surroundings.
Then, continuing the trip to Tam Coc (literally means three caves). Tam Coc is often promoted as Vietnam’s “Halong bay on land”. Enjoy the scenic journey passing through the picturesque rural area. Savour a delicious lunch at a popular eatery and take a sampan boat trip through the canal crossing the beautiful rice paddy.
Back to Hanoi around 6.00 pm.

DAY 5: HANOI DEPARTURE (B)

Free until you are transferring to the airport for flight back home.

When you mention Northern Vietnam, most travelers will immediately talk about Halong Bay and Hanoi. The northern region, however, has a lot more things to offer. One of them is Ninh Binh Province, where you can see the remarkable karst scenery around the village of Tam Soc.

Joining this 5-day-4-night tour of Hanoi, Ninh Binh and Halong will be a great way to learn more about the northern Vietnamese countryside and culture. Aside from taking in the wonderful scenery along the journey, you will also enjoy the fresh air. Explore the caves and grottos in Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and take a relaxing river cruise in Tam Coc amidst the splendor of its impressive landscape (the “Halong Bay on land”).

In addition, a cyclo tour around Hanoi’s popular attractions will make for a truly memorable visit to northern Vietnam.
